Welcome! I am a Master of Science student in Computer Science program at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. My research interest is primarily in machine learning and computer vision. I am a holder of 3 internation publications including one in IEEE for my work on 6D pose estimation models. Check out my work 'Faster training of Edge-attention aided 6D pose estimation model using transfer learning and small customized dataset'.
As part of my coursework I am studying reinforcement learning, software engineering, advanced NLP, applied machine learning, formal language theory and network security.
Prior to pursuing Master's, I worked as Applied Scientist at the Indian Space Research Organization for 2.5 years. I gained substantial experience in leadership, project and stakeholder management. I was awarded "Outstanding" rating on 3 consecutive performance reviews.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Trivandrum. I gained research experience in Computer Vision through my internship, B.Tech final year thesis and various independent projects.
